The Market Center Administrator (MCA) Support Division is looking for a fast-paced, independent thinking Accounting Team Lead who has a proven track record of success in Public Accounting. As our ideal Accounting Team Lead you are a tech savvy licensed CPA passionate about supporting others.  

What will you do?

The Accounting Team Lead will work individually and within collaborative teams to lead Market Centers, Regions, and KWRI in understanding the levers in KW financial statements and proactively implementing the systems and models, including the Growth Initiative and the KW Economic Fundamentals that lead to growth, fiscal security, and profitability. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead KWMCAngels in building and implementing a process to effectively analyze Market Center financials and to consult Market Center leadership on implementing systems, models, and tools to fortify their financials.
  • Lead KWMCAngels in providing proactive financial support to Market Center leaders.
  • Collaborate with KWRI training partners in building training solutions that are infused with strategic accounting principles that proactively mitigates opportunities for fraud within the framework of KW systems and models.
  • Deliver financial and management accounting training within the KW systems and models to KWMCAngels so that they may effectively support Market Center leadership.
  • Deliver financial and management accounting training within the KW systems and models to Regional leaders so that they may effectively lead their Market Center leadership teams.
  • Deliver financial and management accounting training within the KW systems and models to associates to support business decisions.
  • Deliver financial and management accounting training within the KW systems and models to Market Center Leadership. 
  • Collaborate with technology development teams to ensure new technology supports best practices in accounting within the KW systems and models.

Knowledge/Skills: 

Required

  • College degree in Accounting
  • Currently or previously licensed CPA
  • At least 3 years of Public Accounting experience
  • At least 2 years of Senior Accountant experience
  • Superior business communication skills – written, oral, presentation, email
  • Experience with MSOffice products, presentation tools

Preferred

  • Training delivery or presentation experience
  • Leadership experience
  • Tech-savvy, keeps up with trends
  • Real estate knowledge and experience
