Who we’re looking for:

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Manager who wants to be part of a dynamic environment and make an impact on the future of real estate. We are looking to expand our Vendor Network Team with a fast-paced, driven professional who enjoys generating leads and building win-win relationships.  

As our ideal Business Development Manager, you thrive in a commission-based, sales environment and are focused on generating advertising business through new vendor relationships. You are relational, positive and extremely persistent. You are experienced in giving sales presentations, to both small and large audiences. You have excellent negation skills and use creativity to accomplish and exceed your goals. You are the ultimate team player, able to work and interact in an ever-changing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and participate on outbound calls to lead generate for new relationships.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, including consistent follow-up touches.
  • Meet advertising sales quotas.
  • Deliver excellent customer service.
  • Work with team to ensure completion of contracts, delivery and payment.
  • Maintain database records.
  • Research accounts and identify potential customers.
  • Identify needs of customers and present the best advertising opportunity to exceed their goals.
  • Prepare and present sales presentations and proposals.

Knowledge and Skills: 

  • Established, successful history of inside and outside sales.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience with CRM system, Sales Force experience preferred.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and smartphones.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some sitting, standing, walking and filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position occasionally requires long hours and occasional weekend work as job duties demand.

Travel
This role requires travel up to 30 percent.
